Why this music
Because the book pulses with Bill's manic glee and cosmic wrongness, the playlist mixes unsettling carousel whimsy with driving orchestral tension — light when Bill is performing, dark when the void underneath shows through. Tracks stay slightly off-kilter, never fully menacing, never fully safe, mirroring a narrator who makes destruction feel festive.
