Why this music
The music stays spare and unhurried, like rooms that have already lost half their furniture — mostly solo piano, string textures, and breath. It traces the island's quiet erosion: warmth only in the earliest tracks, dissolving into colder, more skeletal tones as the disappearances accumulate.
